SSIS on a 64-bit server

Using a 64-bit server is of course nice, but I've commed across some problems when trying to execute some of my packages. This comes from the fact that there isn't drivers for all source types in SSIS for the 64-bit version of SQL Server.

The workaround for this is to use the 32-bit version of dtexec.exe to execute the packages with. This file can be found in the folder: program files (x86)\microsoft sql server\90\dts\binn

When scheduling packages to run within SQL Server using SQL Server agent the packages won't be able to execute either. In order to fix this you will have to create your own bat files so that the 32-bit version is used to execute the packages...don't forget to assign the sql server agent account the right permissions on the files...
